When Earl had a stroke and lost the use of his dominant hand, he stopped drawing. There were other priorities. His energy went into things like learning to walk. Progress was slow but steady because he never gave up.
Time passed and recently we focused on trying to build up the use of his hands. We began our own art therapy program and with joy we take pleasure in creating collaborative art.
This is Earl's first leaf. He did most of the work and has proven to himself that anything is possible. The Zentangle® method has opened up not only the ability to draw but the ability to believe that you can do something that you never thought you could. You just have to take one step at a time or in Zentangle's simple wisdom, "Anything is possible One Stroke at a Time"
